From the Bean...
...to Your Coffee Cup
After the buyer has received the green
coffee there are three steps needed to prepare the green beans for
your consumption: Roasting, grinding, brewing. The
beans must be roasted to just the right level to highlight any
outstanding characteristics of the coffee. At Crown Tower, we
have a special roaster that can be adjusted for any coffee in the
world. The
roasted coffee must be ground relative to how it is to be
brewed. At Crown Tower, most of our coffees are available for
perk grind, drip grind or espresso grind. Finally,
the freshly roasted and freshly
ground coffee must be brewed at the right temperature for the correct
amount of time.
